Privacy policy
The short version: we don’t want your data, and we don’t ask for it.
Last updated 18 July 2026.
What we collect directly
Nothing. NeuralGisthas no accounts, no logins, no comments and no newsletter. We don’t ask for your name or email, and there is no first-party tracking cookie. If you email us, we have your email — because you sent it to us — and we use it to reply to you and nothing else.
What our hosting provider collects
The site is served by Vercel, which processes standard server request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. See Vercel’s privacy policy.
Advertising
NeuralGist will be funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. When ads are shown:
- Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices.
For more on how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see Google’s partner sites policy.
Links out
We link to our sources constantly — that’s the point of the site. Once you follow a link, you’re on someone else’s site under their privacy policy, not ours.
Your rights
If you’re in the EU/EEA or UK, you have rights of access, correction and erasure over personal data we hold. Since the only personal data we could plausibly hold is an email you chose to send us, exercising these is usually as simple as asking. Contact us.
Changes
If we add anything that collects data — analytics, a newsletter, comments — this page changes first, and we’ll date the change here.
